I just finished updating a few minor design changes in “Mermaid Palace“. Well this is my first personal community project with 2 of my friends. I’ve been busy lately that I find it hard to spare time updating it. But finally I have a little time invested to update the long due design / css problems with the site.

And I’m really happy that “Mermaid Palace” is reaching 100 members yay. It’s a closed community not open for public, so I’m happy with the 100 members . Please take a look at the website if you have time, and let me know what you think. Always open for suggestions/ideas how to improved it.

It have been a while since I last posted here. I’ve been busy at my work, learning about subversion and handling a new project. I’ll try to keep up and still be able to post here. Ok back to work.

I recently come a cross an old Strategy game that I used to play when I was in Junior High. And I just couldn’t resist to the idea of developing online web based game. Of course that not the only reason I want to develop an online web based game, cause I never actually develop or do this before. So I would like to challenge my self to actually do it.

It’s have been almost 2 year since I learn PHP and the last 1 year I’m using Codeigniter Framework. It’s just the idea to developing something new and try to accomplish it, give me a new spirit to keep on moving forward in this line of work.

Well It’s still on the planning stage so I won’t reveal anything just yet, since I have to spare my time from my work to start developing this. I will reveal more about this as the project progressing forward.

I also came across another good CMS that’s build base on Codeigniter Framework, it is called Pyro CMS. Phil Sturgeon just release v0.9.7.1 last night.

This covers:

* Increased PHP 5.3 support
* Installer bugs fixed
* Added Gravatar support to comments
* Enabled short-tag rewriting by default.

Anyone would like CMS base on Codeigniter could definitely try this one out.

Today I came across a CMS based on Codeigniter Framework that look promising. It is called Ionize CMS. It have not been release yet, but look like it’s going to soon. I would like to test it as soon as it’s release, I’m hoping it can be use as a core development of my own project.
